Supplies

PLAID Supplies
  • FolkArt ® Enamels™ - Burnt Umber, 2 oz.
Other Supplies
Shelf liner paper (sticky back)
Pencil
Craft knife
Protected work surface
Rubbing alcohol
Coffee mug
Spouncer
Paintbrush

Instructions

1. Trace or free hand draw a moustache onto the shelf liner paper.  Create a stencil by using a craft knife to cut out just the drawing portion.

2. Wipe the coffee mug with rubbing alcohol to clean it.

3. Position the stencil onto the top center of the mug.  Dip the spouncer brush into the burnt umber paint, tap off the excess and tap into the open portion of the stencil.  Peel the stencil and allow to dry.

4. Follow the instructions on the bottle for setting the paint.

Tip: Only drink from the non-painted side of the mug and when you do it will look like you have a moustache.
